WORST STAFFING AGENCY! I had a very frustrating and unprofessional experience with ROCS Grad Staffing this week. My original interview was scheduled for Tuesday (since Monday was a holiday), but on the day of, I was informed last-minute that the recruiter, Eva, was out sick and the interview had to be rescheduled.
I followed up by email to reschedule, but never received a response. I had to take the initiative and call the staffing agency myself, and a different staff member rescheduled my interview for Wednesday morning.
On Wednesday, I logged in for the interview only to find there was no meeting. I later received an email informing me that my interview had been rescheduled again—without my consent or even prior notice.
At that point, we finally agreed to schedule the interview for Friday (today). I joined the virtual meeting on time but encountered a brief technical glitch that delayed me by about three minutes. I immediately called Eva to inform her that I was waiting to be let in, but instead of allowing a small grace period or acknowledging the issue, she told me she had “other obligations” and rescheduled me yet again—for next week.
I’ve been patient and cooperative all week, accommodating multiple last-minute changes on their end. But when a small delay happened due to a technical issue, I was dismissed immediately. That kind of inconsistency and lack of respect for my time says a lot about how this agency operates.
I truly don’t understand the positive reviews, because my experience was anything but professional. I believe everything happens for a reason, and based on what I went through, I wouldn’t trust ROCS—especially not Eva—to help me with something as important as my career. I wouldn’t recommend this agency to anyone.
