I was contacted through indeed about a position in Portland. I sent them a message and said I was extremely interested. They called me to talk about the job but wouldn’t tell me who it was with or exactly where it was. They sent me a tremendous amount of paper work, which I filled out. I was told to come in the next day for an interview. I went to their office the next day. The person I was scheduled to meet with was late. They were playing really aggressive death metal music which I thought was weird. At the meeting they asked me questions about my resume that could have just as easily been answered over the phone. I was told I was a good fit for the position and would be contacted about another interview the next day. They asked for a copy of my social security and license in exchange for validating my parking. I never got a call back. I’m still wondering if it was a scam or just a tremendous waste of time.
