I applied for a job that was posted by RevCats on LinkedIn and was contacted quickly by Craig. He let me know that one of his recruiters would be reaching out to me, and I was contacted quickly by his associate Dave. Dave asked me to provide him with information by a certain time and promised a follow-up by the next day. I provided Dave the information within the timeframe that he requested it, but never heard back. I followed up with him twice and got no response. I then contacted Craig who also failed to get back to me. This is a terrible way to do business. If a candidate is not the right fit for a job or the position has already been filled, have the courtesy to let them know. Even if it’s a form letter saying “thanks for your interest but…”, it takes 5 seconds to send. Don’t ignore people. That’s unprofessional and extremely disrespectful.
