I won’t name the specific recruiter I’ve dealt with recently, but this agency is just another typical recruitment firm that claims to have ‘active roles’ that turn out to be nothing. I’d love to be able to invoice the time spent wasted on opportunities that simply don’t exist to entities of this sort – it might have them rethink their approach to other candidates seeking work in future.

Natasha Lee from Resourceful Recruitment was recently the intermediary between my job-seeking self and my now employer. The key thing that impressed me the most was how she intuitively saw that I fit the company and role she offered perfectly, even though we’d never spoken and I had a “quirky” CV.
