I mean – do I need to explain much – look at the previous low reviews!! I’d say the exact same thing! Run, forest, run run run from this company if you want to keep some $ in your pocket. They do not care one bit about agents that receive referrals from them. They mine leads from other lead companies & expect you to pay a fee to them as well! I mean, come-on, talk about some shady business practices! If there was an option to give less than 1 star my review would be equivalent to the worlds leading golf professionals score card! They launder their leads as good as the Byrd family laundered money in Land of the Ozarks! Stay away!!

Referral Exchange is double-dipping on referrals, and it’s unethical. I was already referred to a seller by another referral company — clearly and verifiably — yet this company swooped in 4 days later, and claimed the referral just to pocket the fee. They’re knowingly taking money they didn’t earn, and it’s dishonest. I called other referral companies and each of them said they would never do business in this way, they would respectfully honor a prior agreement between a seller and another referral company – especially with the proof I provided. If you value fairness and doing business with people who operate with integrity, I’d think twice before working with Referral Exchange. They are more focused on gaming the system than actually supporting the professionals they claim to serve.

These referral operations should be considered fraudulent and a form of piracy. I was already working with a client and had completed a CMA and had paperwork drawn up and ready to go live on the MLS. My client was curious about what amount they should ask for their property. A few online searches and somehow he inadvertently got my name included in a search somehow. Next thing we know our Brokerage is being contacted by Referral Exchange claiming we will owe a percentage of my commission to them in referral fees. Realtors appreciate ethical and moral referrals but leaching a percent of my commission from a client incase already working with and have dates, times, texts and emails to verify is ridiculous. Any attempts to verify this with Referral Exchange results in returned “unable to send” emails. They had no problem communicating with my client and Brokerage up until they found out we could prove we already had him as a client before they intervened. Now all attempts are ignored. Hmmmm. Seems very suspicious.
