“Get the film out in front of the right eyes.” That’s what we needed help with. There are so many scouting/recruiting services available- we didn’t want to complicate the “Process” by chosing the wrong one. With the transfer portal, NIL, NCAA rule changes, we knew we needed an advocate to help us navigate thru recruitment and not risk any eligibility requirements. We pulled the trigger. Contacted Coach Ron Lang, Head Football Scout at G.E.M Class and we came up with a plan. Get the film out. Generate some interest. Turn those interest into scholarship offers. That is our plan. Coach Ron Lang installed an email campaign for our 2028 Freshman QB that would get his film out to all NCAA, FCS, FBS, DIVII, DIVIII, NAIA, JUCCO divisions and conferences. On 12/12/24, we started sending out emails (aprox 30 a day). It’s been almost 2 months now and we’ve sent out approximately 1988 emails. 1254 of those emails were successfully received by Head Coaches, Offensive Coordinators/QB coaches, Directors of Scouting and Recruiters. 529 coaches opened and read his email. And, 725 additional coaches had opened and clicked on his game film. We couldn’t imagine trying to track these emails on our own, and using X was not as successful in contacting colleges. We are extremely happy with the results. Coach Ron Lang calls us all the time and answered all our questions/concerns. He has truly been excellent thru this process. We appreciate the relationships that we have made and at the end, we know the relationships built will be one of the most important network gained. Our family cannot say enough positive things about G.E.M. Class Recruiting and Coach Aaron Ruggles. The clear guidance, recruiting knowledge and leadership for our sons have been priceless! As a parent and former college athlete a lot has changed over the years when it comes to recruiting and more than I would of ever imagined. To see firsthand the genuine relationships being created between the College Coaches and the continued positive experiences, makes everything with my second time around as the parent even more enjoyable. When our oldest son was going into High School and his younger brother was finishing his last year in Middle School we found ourselves having a lot more questions like most do. Our oldest son immediately started getting emails, text messages and phone calls as soon as he completed his High School Athletic registration profile. As parents we also had the same exact communication that mirrored his. One of the hardest things to know when recruiters first started reaching out was who was genuinely concerned about our athletes best interest. The multiple messages each week during our oldest sons academic hours continuously became more of a red flag for all of us when our busy schedules kept us all from responding immediately. Each year we would add to our recruiting notes and knowledge but what we found as our boys grew older, we realized there was so much more to the recruiting journey that was missing and we needed help. If l could share anything to help other families it would be the reassurance when it comes to having your athlete work hand in hand with Aaron and G.E.M. Class. Don’t waist anymore time or energy worrying instead know your athlete is in the best hands.

We have only been with G.E.M Class for about a month, and we have seen more things happen for our son Korliss Hudson than we have in the past 3 years of high school.
