Shady. Stay away from working here. I was offered a management position with this company; before I officially accepted the position, I dropped into the local office that I would be heading up to introduce myself, say hi and get a feel for the company atmosphere. I had a great conversation with the lady who would be my assistant and left feeling good about the situation. Once I left the office, I immediately contacted the Operations Manager, Troy, to inform him that I would be accepting his offer and would be happy to work with them.
When I called Troy, he informed me that he was “perplexed.” I inquired as to why he was in that state of mind. He responded with “you just opened a can of worms for me.” I told him I didn’t understand. He stated “you just left our PC office.” I confirmed his statement and informed him that I wanted to meet the people I would be working with and was unsure as to why he was in his current frame of mind. He immediately became audibly irritated and told me “don’t try and apologize.”
I stated that I was not apologizing for doing research on my future employer or performing my own due diligence, just as they would for me or any other employee they would like to hire. With no further explanation, Troy then abruptly ended our conversation by hanging up on me.
RAMS is not represented well by this individuals lack of professionalism. I caution any person who looks to be hired by this company. They don’t like intelligent people. They want do boys. Save yourself the time, use the brain you are given, and apply for jobs with other companies.
