Moved in last week and my apartment was no where near ready for move-in and still hasn’t been fixed after a week. First, 2Trees, the office that manages The Ramp, had no idea that I was moving in and I was lucky enough that there was someone in the office to help me out or else I would of been stranded with a full U-Haul. However, the closet door, internet, and dishwasher are all broken/out of service. Oven and dishwasher were unplugged and moved out. Ladder left in the unit. Something is disconnected underneath the sink (assuming the dishwasher) and found out the hard way by having dirty water pouring into the cabinet beneath where I stored some of my things. A/C and bathroom appliances work at least! I have tried to contact the office on multiple occasions throughout multiple days during their business hours and they have only answered once or by email. I was given no information for door codes to the front door, laundry room, or mail room upon move-in. When they finally answered (5 days after move-in), they told me that they have put in a work order (more than 48 hours ago) and maintenance still hasn’t shown up. I was able to put in work orders of my own finally and still have had no luck for them showing up. Hoping to get some sort of compensation for this… I will say, the other residents are welcoming and friendly! Somewhat good location, nearby a lot of good restaurants, bars and stores but tweakers living in the parking lot (they have a cute dog though).

Second time writing a review for this place. A month since my first and still have gotten nowhere with getting my security deposit back and now they won’t respond to emails or phone calls. I was also told a member of their team would be reaching out to me soon and 4 weeks later… nothing. Original review: Place goes through a new manager nearly every 6 months. Most likely won’t receive a response from them unless it’s about signing a lease. They refuse to kick out renters who are actively pulling the fire alarm multiple times a week for some unknown reason. Dog poop litters the hallways while people’s rotting garbage stinks the place up to high heaven. “Community maintenance fees” are the largest utility you pay even though there is no communal space besides the 3 Ikea chairs in the lobby and a “rooftop deck” that’s a joke. You get charged twice for garbage, $25 for Valet Garbage and another $20 for the actual dumpster. Took me a month for one of their temporary managers to send me a copy of my lease. They also have flyers around the building with pictures of squatters saying to call the police if they are seen in the building. Honestly, my roach invested apartment in Miami was better than this place. Good luck. And if the manager is seeing this, please email me back, you owe me my security deposit.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing experience with the leasing process at The Ramp Apartments, thanks to Joanna Hawkins! She is absolutely lovely—so understanding, down-to-earth, and patient. I never felt rushed at any point, and she made everything incredibly simple, fast, and easy. Moving can be stressful, but she truly went above and beyond to make the process smooth. I highly recommend working with her if you’re looking for a hassle-free leasing experience!
