By far the worst experience I have ever had with an Agency. I had applied for a Sr. Talent Acquisition role through Raise that I was a great fit for . Shortly after applying I received an email to book an interview for the role. Within moments of receiving the email I attempted to use the link provided to book the interview but the linm failed. I immediately reached out to the Recruiter via email and the through the link that I was unable to book and interview and was still interested in the role with no response. I understand that things can get busy but after 6 days of no response I called the 1 800 number. After some effort I was able to be connected to the Recruiter for the role. I then informed her who I was , what had happened and what role I applied for. Within seconds I was informed that the role had been filled. There is no possible way that the Recruiter looked up the role or even had a chance to look up my profile in that time frame. The lack of professionalism was astonishing and left me dumbfounded. Moreover the Recruiter failed to show any accountability as she did not even attempt to explain the reason why she did not respond to my emails. This experience has left a very foul taste in my mouth.

I worked with raise when they were known as Ian Martin and had an excellent experience. When I was approached by them in December for a contact role, because of my previous experience, I happily accepted. I was told we would be starting in a few weeks and I sent in my signed contract as well as all the information they needed from me. When the start date was approaching, I started to reach out the them as I had not heard anything since I signed my contract but the recruiter ignored my calls and emails. Finally when I did get through to someone, I was told the start date has been pushed to March. I was very frustrated that I was not told about this earlier. As March came around, the recruiter started calling me outside it business hours multiple and demanding that I send in the necessary documents as we were to start April 4. I did so, April 4th came around and again, I heard NOTHING from them. I told the recruiter that I had interviews lined up and he assured me that what happened last time will not happen again annd we will be starting on time. April 4th comes around and, of course, I hear nothing from them. I have been calling and emailing the recruiter, Arunkumar Rangasamy and he has been completely ignoring me. This is beyond unprofessional and disrespectful to me and my time. I hope those involved can be held accountable for this type of behavior as I have never experienced this in the workforce. AVOID this company at all costs, they will waste your time. If I could, I would give them 0 stars.

Raise is the absolute worst company to work with. They lack in professionalism, communication, and have zero attention to detail. My partner was working with Raise and his contract was extended so he assumed after the holidays he would continue receiving emails of where he would be expected to work. He recieved nothing and only when he reached out to Raise, did they notify him that there is no longer work and he has been laid off. Raise should have reached out and let him know, he should not have needed to contact them to find this information out. On top of that their timeline for sending out ROE’s is ridiculous. They took forever and had sent out an incorrect ROE to him past the legal timeline that companies are expected to send out ROE’s after termination. After sending him the ROE with the incorrect info they then ignored his calls and emails to get this fixed as soon as possible which delayed his ability to apply for EI even further. Once he did receive the correct one he noticed that he received two ROE’s from Raise splitting the hours he worked and then having the correct info on one and the incorrect info on the other. The constant back and forth is exhausting and frustrating. Terrible people to work with and I would never refer anyone I know that is out of a job to reach out to Raise for employment. Unfortunately I have to give a one star review in order to post this, but I truly want to give Raise zero stars.
