Rainy Day Recruitment requires guidance across how it generally protects contractor welfare and also assist those with disabilities to reduce discrimination. An action you made in 2023, significantly contributed to an exhibition with a national reach to be without First Nations representation for close to six months. This disadvantages the host employer and Australians. Making joint decisions with host employers, where possible, can ensure that you and they have the appropriate processes and policies to protect contractors. Supported accountability for and from your clients and contractors where contractors can trust your protection of their rights will develop positive culture of all of the teams involved. Without leading this, your contractors may not come to you for help and support, as they may fear reprisals and a lack of support. You have the potential to differentiate yourself from other recruiters; I trust you can (and will) do better.
