Answer :
I want you to defend your image but what you are saying is not correct. I was approached for the first time following my application for the offer which mentioned 5 years of experience, an interview which I refused in writing, specifying that I did not have the requested experience. The request was accepted. It was only 1 or 2 months later that I was called back to ask if I was still interested because after consultation with the NGO, you did not find the ideal candidate and decided to change the profile of the offer.
It was not a question of asking me my salary expectations but of knowing my gross salary from my former employer. There is a certain NUANCE.
The NGO was very surprised to learn this and even apologized because this is not how they want candidates to be approached and interviewed. She even offered me an interview which I refused because I was no longer interested in the offer. So no, I’m not writing this because I’m disappointed or frustrated not to have been taken, I’m disappointed with the way I was JUDGED and QUESTIONED. This is the first time that I have written a comment following an interview.

The worst recruiting experience I have seen. In 30 minutes of interview, this lady thinks she knows me better than I know myself. Judging myself as a reserved person, I am put directly into a box and I cannot claim a position where I am in contact with people. According to her, she would no longer see me alone in front of a computer writing and translating. If I am given so much responsibility and even entrusted with the NGO for 2 weeks (as colleagues on mission) it is because they believe in my abilities. So I wonder who you are to judge candidates based on unfounded criteria and judgments? 2) The P Group company does not read the CV: the interview boils down to talking point by point about my CV instead of proposing constructed questions or a Pitch. 3) Profil Group does not look at the candidate’s experience either, it was I myself who had to decline an interview for a job offer that asked for 5 years of experience but I had one year of experience. Finally, did you know that it is not allowed to ask a candidate’s salary? I was very surprised to have such a question without any explanation. Review your approach methods and your questions, because they make the candidate uncomfortable and do not inspire confidence! A little empathy and less balance of power wouldn’t hurt! Oh yes, it’s not very nice either, to blame me at the end for not being dynamic because I didn’t call you to remind you that the interview is taking place today when it wasn’t yet time. It seems like I have to do their job for them! What a big waste of time that I had finally anticipated… I am finally very reassured not to have been caught. It’s not my habit to write negative reviews but I had to express what I feel because it’s too easy to devalue a junior profile under the pretext that you have more experience and confidence.
