As a contracted employee Populus Group makes it easy and painless to transition from unemployed to employed. Their dedicated staff are super friendly and easy to communicate with if the employee has any questions/concerns. I’d definitely work with Populus Group again if given the chance.

I have not received a raise in 4 years. I asked for a 27% raise to make up for it. They (where I work) gave Populus “north” of what I asked for. Populus gave me 3%. They will never give you anything. They only go to the place you work at, ask them for the raise you requested, give you 5% of it (at the most) and keep the rest. They also rejected my request for another two weeks of vacation. Furthermore, they will never communicate with you. The only way to keep them from taking advantage of you is to sever the relationship and find another job. Reply to owner: No, thank you. You perfectly understand my situation because I’ve been reaching out to you and asking for raises for 4 years. I’ve already done what you have said and I’ve explained myself with great patience in manifold ways. The only resolution is what I stated above.

This company is absolutely incompetent. They offer employment services but they hire the lowest quality workers on their staff because it’s been a nightmare for my son. One thing that is a fact in this economy you don’t screw with someone’s paycheck. Their payroll department is a total joke, they wait till payday to notify my son they won’t pay him until his manager approves his hours. This manager confirmed they had approved them before they even sent it in but yet Payroll thinks it’s unbelievable his holiday pay is valid. I didn’t know payroll should have an opinion on if someone can or can’t have holiday pay, isn’t that the managers job? I am getting ready to report this company because I am sure they are breaking some major Labor laws with this etiquette, it’s past his payday and the delay is NOT his fault but yet he is expected to just suck it up?!
