When I mentioned I was open to discussing salary and flexible on opportunities, the conversation didn’t progress professionally. Instead, Eli became increasingly rude and condescending—and then hung up on me mid-sentence. I was stunned. What started as a standard call turned into an arrogant, disrespectful encounter that completely crossed the line. After the call, I was blocked on every channel—phone, LinkedIn, even email. No explanation, no closure. Just complete avoidance and silence. That behavior alone tells you everything you need to know about how PlaceMint handles communication. This isn’t just about a bad call—it’s a massive red flag. If this is how they treat professionals who come to them in good faith, I can’t imagine what happens behind the scenes. I would strongly advise anyone thinking about working with Eli Garfinkel or PlaceMint Agency to think twice. There are plenty of agencies out there that know how to treat people with respect. This is not one of them.
