Pinpoint Staffing is one of the best staffing agencies I’ve worked for. I started a temp assignment through Pinpoint Staffing in mid-February 2020, just before the Covid pandemic. The hiring process was quick and easy (interview with agency/client and paperwork), not to mention Pinpoint’s office is conveniently located and upbeat and modern. They didn’t miss a beat with making sure my first check was via direct deposit; unlike some of the agencies I’ve dealt with; whereby my first or even second check was mailed or I had to pick up. I’ve never had a better experience with a staffing agency. Jay Gould was my contact and throughout the seven months I worked temporary for Pinpoint’s client, Jay’s response time to my questions and concerns was immediate. Jay was always understanding and helpful. Even after I was hired on permanent with his client, he made sure the transition went smooth. Jay even gave me an end of the assignment bonus for all the ups-and-downs I went through during Covid. In 2015 due to a company buy out I was laid off. I posted my resume on many of the recruiting job and I received a call from Jay Gould at Pinpoint Staffing stating he located my resume and wanted to speak to me regarding employment opportunities. Best call ever! He was very professional and personable at the same time. He cared about my employment situation and genuinely wanted to assist me in finding a job that was a perfect fit for my career. He introduced me to a Business Process Analyst position that he believed would be perfect for me and wanted me to consider it. After reading the description I thought it was a great fit as well and I wanted to move forward. He walked me through all of the steps for applying and the interview process and I was hired! During the hiring process he was able to answer any questions or concerns about the position or paper work. During my employment he was there as well to answer questions, whether it was regarding payroll, taking a day off or whatever the topic may have been. He was there with an immediate response. I was hired permanently after 10 months! So he was right, this job was a perfect fit. I am currently still employed with the same company and to this day I periodically email Jay to give him an update on my career and thank him again for being so great! I have worked for a couple of staffing companies in my career and PinPoint Staffing exceeded my expectations! They are interested in not only your career but your happiness! Keep being so personable. It makes you stand out above the rest! When a recruiter encounters a person’s life, most times they are at a very vulnerable point. Losing your job no matter what the circumstance is devastating to a person. To most, their livelihood is at stake and they are possibly at a point of despair or desperation.
