David Perry and Anita Martel came to the tiny town of Hillsville, VA when Southwestern Virginia Training Center was closing and delivered some of the most helpful and down to earth advice on job hunting to the staff who were losing their jobs. Many of the staff had been working at the Center since they were 18 and had been there 20-30 years. I was able to see his information work wonders for people and found a great position myself due in great part to the practices I picked up from him and from his book Guerilla Marketing for Job Hunters. I am now in an HR position with a great company and can tell a world of difference in the applications, resumes, and job hunting approach of those who have been exposed to his information and those who have not. I cannot recommend Perry-Martel International Inc. enough.

David Perry is famous in the whole headhunting and job search industry in North America. I had the honour to have David Perry to revise my application for an executive job I really want. David made extraordinary efforts to enhance my application. He totally transformed my cover letter and resume, making them so thoughtful and stand-out. That’s a game-changer! During the whole process, I realize why this guy is so famous in the industry— David Perry is truly a genius! Despite David Perry is a celebrity in his field, he is truly a nice and kind human being. I hired a resume writer before, although the person charged less than David, I felt it was a waste of money; the person only gave generic advice to fill in the time I paid for, and you don’t hear from them anymore after they say they have spent the hour(s) on you, doesn’t matter the results. But with David, I got the best job application service that I didn’t think anyone could ever get. David’s job application service is beyond my imagination, not just expectation. He took the ownership and did everything beyond for me to make sure the job application he revised for me is one of a kind and I can get the best result. I feel honoured to get the help from the legendary David Perry. I learned so much from my experience working with David. Money well spent!

David Perry is, for me, one of the greatest examples of a trailblazer who has made, and continues to make, a lasting, valuable mark on the world. I’ve known David as a friend, client, and colleague for over 10 years. His passion and ingenuity when it comes to executive search are something I’ve seen lacking in just about every other “headhunting” firm out there. I should know, I used to work for one! As someone interested in career growth, his books, including “Guerrilla Marketing for Job Hunters” should be in your library and part of your annual reading cycle, every year. At least do this for yourself: Take a moment, visit David’s websites and see what he has to say. You may find yourself seeing a different point of view.
