You are just a number with them, I really loved the work with them. But as I have mental health issues and a teenage mental age, I was discarded over something I did that was showing support. They said they are supportive to their temporary staff but are not supporting to everyone.

I’m in my 6th or 7th year with Pathfinder and have worked both in CPS and in the Roro area. When I joined my personal finances were best described as tight to adequate. Within 3 years the position was transformed and after 5 I was able to settle a large but short term mortgage.
In addition I enjoy the opportunity to work with other people. Having spent a lot of my life at sea retirement robbed me of the mess room banter I so enjoyed. Pathfinder gave that back.
The one set back I suffered was when I did 2 weeks Jury Service. One of the managers at that time refused to sign the loss of earnings certificate. I genuinely missed out on work that I had been allocated. The Ministry of Justice were happy to pay me my average weekly earnings. It was the man at Pathinder who blocked that. I was very bitter at the time, but overall being with Pathfinder has been a marvellous and positive experience.
