Dr Shamie is an artist. All I can say is “wow”. Everyone from the front office to Dr Park to the staff at the surgery center couldn’t have been nicer and more professional. With such an important decision to have ANY eye procedure I felt confident right from the start. Vision is amazing. After the UV adjustable cataract procedure I’m seeing between than I ever have. No complications at all (thank goodness) and couldn’t be happier.

Maloney-Shamie-Hura was recommended by my optometrist for vision correction. He said he trusted them because they turn people away if they don’t think you’ll get good results – which is exactly what everyone should be looking for when considering a surgery like this! I went for a consult with Dr. Maloney in January of this year, and with my prescription being as high as it is, I was recommended EVO ICL surgery with Dr. Hura versus one of the laser solutions. I didn’t know anything about the EVO ICL option before it was recommended, but went home, did some research, and Dr. Hura took the time to have an additional consult with me to answer all my questions. Going into the surgery in April, I felt well informed and I wasn’t at all nervous. The surgery was quick, easy, and painless, and my vision was 20/20 in one eye, and 20/15 in the other 3 hours after surgery. Surgery was on a Friday and I was back at work on Monday with no issues. By my 1 week check-in I was 20/13 in both eyes. A few weeks after surgery I had some minor concern with one eye, and the office was quick to respond to my query about it, had me come in immediately, and did a full and thorough evaluation to make sure everything was ok. Dr. Hura and team are highly skilled, caring, and responsive, and I’m very happy with the results. Would recommend to anyone considering vision correction!
