Have been doing business with these folks for close to 15 years, and after today, we are finally done. Their customer and dealer support is non-existant. Calling in will get you nothing but people who are incredible rude and sound like they’d rather be anywhere but there. I’ll never understand a business who thinks treating customers like garbage is a great business strategy, but I can tell you they’ve lost a long time customer because of it. I’m tired of their poor atitude, and the lack of support for us and our mutual customers. There are FAR better options out there, but Road Runner seems to think they are the only dog in the race.
UPDATE: New week, same problems. Their pre-approval system is broken, and I’m guessing just pre-approves every app that comes through. Then as I transfer the customer over to our portal and get them all excited, they turn around and deny the application. THEN when you get ahold of customer service to see what’s going on… its a 48 hour turn around for review. Instead of fixing their process the way I was promised, they in fact EXTENDED the time frame and made it worse. Will be working with out web designer to have their pre-approval and branding off our site. Its just far too much trouble than its worth, and their “dealer support” folks seem to have zero support skills. I feel bad for the sales reps who are trying their best just to have the call center and operations folks set any progress on fire.
