NextPath Career Partners exceeded my expectations. I had the pleasure of working with the NextPath team during my recent career transition, and their support was instrumental in helping me secure a Senior Director of Operational Excellence role with Medical Technology Associates. From the start, they approached my search with a blend of professionalism, insight, and personal care that’s rare in today’s recruiting landscape. They took the time to understand my background, goals, and leadership style and matched me with an opportunity that was aligned both culturally and strategically. Communication was prompt, transparent, and thoughtful at every stage. I always felt like a true partner in the process, not just a placement. If you’re a senior leader looking for your next challenge or a company seeking transformative talent, I’d strongly recommend the team at NextPath. Thank you again for the exceptional experience. Saying I had the pleasure of working with NextPath is a huge understatement. Throughout the hiring process, I felt incredibly supported by both Will and Andy, and then could not have been in better hands than Andreia’s for onboarding. Thank you to the staff of NextPath for the incredible people skills and of course, for helping find my next position.

Communication is lacking at best and they don’t seem to be very knowledgeable about the tech field. I first heard from them a few months ago. I told them that I was seeking a remote position as they are very common in my field and I have a tremendous amount of experience working with global teams and clients. I was told by the recruiter from NextPath that most remote jobs were going away and there aren’t a lot out there (I see at least twenty or more new postings a day from tech companies seeking remote tech workers). He told me that he would keep my name in case something came across his desk in the Tampa area. About a month later I hear from another recruiter at NextPath who said they had a great company in the area that was looking for someone with my experience. They asked if it would be okay to submit my name. I told them yes – then another month goes by. The second recruiter calls me and asks if I was still open to new opportunities. When I said yes, they told me they were meeting with the company they told me about a month ago and wanted to be sure I was still open to it. A few hours go by and they called me asking if I could meet with the client in two days between 9am and 11am. I said yes and was told they would let the client know then send me the details. Two weeks go by then I emailed the recruiter asking if they had filled the position. The recruiter at NextPath said the client was sending an offer to another candidate but they would keep me in mind in case another opportunity came up…. Wait! What? What happened to the interview I was supposed to have with the client? I don’t like having my time wasted or kept in the dark. I tell my techs to never leave your clients wondering. They should never have to ask what is happening. Apparently, NextPath doesn’t operate under the same guidelines. They do what a lot of recruiters do which is ‘cattle calls’. They send clients a lot of resumes hoping that one of them will peak the clients interest, all the while telling each ‘candidate’ how special they are and they would be ‘an excellent fit’ for the position. You go through enough recruiters and you start to see the same patterns and techniques used over and over again. Unfortunately, a lot of companies use ATS now to sort through resumes and so unless your resume is ATS friendly, it’s hard to get your resume seen. Still, its better to work to make your resume ATS friendly than deal with the frustration of recruiters like I found at NextPath.
