Decent selection, but prices are very high
Visited Mount Everest grocery store while in town. They carry a good variety of South Asian and African groceries, including a solid selection of vegetables, Shan masalas, frozen naan/paratha, and pantry staples like atta and rice.
However, I found the prices extremely expensive—even from a Canadian perspective. For example, Shan masala was $2.99, and a regular bag of rice was priced at $25, which is far more than what I pay back home in Canada.
It’s worth a visit only if you’re in urgent need of specific South Asian or African items, but definitely not a place for regular shopping if you’re budget-conscious.
That said, they do stock a wide range of products, so if you’re willing to pay a premium for convenience, you’ll likely find what you’re looking for.
