An awesome place. The rocks, the monasteries. Nice natural unesco park. Good roads, possibilities to hike. Not shoping in the Mountain, so you need to take water and food from the town below.

Visited in April so thankfully less crowds and fresh weather for walking. The monasteries across the area are all fabulous and so many beautiful views from sunrise to sunset. Loved Meteora.

Stunning views, unique rock formations, beautiful nature, and impressive monasteries. Even off-season, there are still many tourists, so expect some crowds. Entrance to each monastery costs €5, but even if you don’t go inside, the scenery around is absolutely breathtaking. A must-visit location in Greece.
