I’m currently admitted here now. 0 stars if I could. I was transferred from Queenstown Hospital on 6/5 for a spine puncture ( as my doctor at queenstown was unable to do it) I was promised the spine puncture the next day 6/6. I was here admitted Friday and no doctor was able to do the spine puncture before they left for the weekend. ( what was the point in me coming here )? I was informed by staff that the radiologist who does the spine punctures do not work weekend and that my doctor was going to see if another doctor from the ICU part of the hospital could perform the spine puncture on 6/7? Well guess what? I guess the doctor was too busy. On 6/8 I found out that the doctor only do those for “ emergencies” I guess my situation wasn’t an emergency ?? When what I was diagnosed with is very fatal and can even cause death. ( bacterial meningitis) – the spinal puncture should been everybody first priority when I was transported here with serious symptoms. I guess next time I’ll risk my life driving to John Hopkins hospital so I know I’m actually getting the right treatment and not guesses or delayed treatment because staff doesn’t work unless your “ dying”. Also I believe I was diagnosed wrong. I have doctors thinking it’s meningitis and other doctors thinking it was a severe tonsillitis . But oh sorry I guess we don’t know because no doctor here can do my spinal puncture until DAYS later ! On the other hand, my RN name Liz was amazing and sweet. I really enjoyed her.

My husband had a procedure on May 20th, with an overnight stay. We were very impressed with the level of care. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, from housekeeping to nurses and doctors. I loved the text messages that kept me informed throughout his procedure. there was no wait time, from check in to check out.. this will be his preferred place for anything medical.

Just HORRIBLE. If you or a loved one has to go to a hospital, make sure it’s not this one. Doctors are incompetent, they have limited specialty doctors and the nursing staff is the worse I’ve seen in all my medical experiences. The nurses don’t clean people up, leave soiled pads in the portable toilet, are rude and spend time either eating at their station or are on their phones. If you ask them a question, it’s a big deal. I am surprised it has not been shut down.
