Got a job with a state college through Spherion. It ended up turning into a full salaried position with incredible benefits and work/life balance. The team at Spherion was always on top of things. If I forgot to submit my hours, they would call and text to let me know so that I would be paid on time. When I completely missed it one week because of a hurricane, the team at the Gainesville office helped me get it resolved quickly and rushed a payment through before the weekend. I’ve worked with two other staffing agencies before and they clearly did not care about you once they got you placed somewhere. I don’t know how it is with other offices at Spherion, but the Gainesville one is staffed with people who genuinely seem to be looking out for the people they place into companies. Hoping I never have to work with Spherion again, but that’s only because they went above and beyond and placed me in a role that I want to retire in! Big recommend!
