I will second one of the reviews posted here because I hope there will be improvements. It’s impossible to get a hold of a live person when you call. Both times, I waited over 10 minutes and opted for a call back and never received a phone call. I sent a message complaining and was told I should allow 2-3 days for a return phone call. It’s been 3 weeks since the first call I made and the end of the third day since my second call, so I’m not holding my breath. The facility itself, once on-site, is great. The staff is friendly. My doctor was very quick at communicating with me about my blood work. No issues there. But please, please, do something about the phone. When patients call, it’s because there’s a health issue and having to wait 2-3 days isn’t acceptable. I’ve never had to wait that long at any other medical offices. I ended up having to go to Urgent Care since I couldn’t get a hold of someone and that defeats the purpose of trying to build a relationship with my new doctor. It makes me feel ignored and like my health issues aren’t a concern to UCLA.

The doctors are good. What is NOT ACCEPTABLE is the outrageously long hold times to speak to the front desk to schedule or cancel an appointment, as well as the longer and longer wait times to get in to see a doctor. We very much like the quality of care. We hope that this health system can address the wait times for their patients.
