A house that’s a home. For anyone touched by breast cancer feeling lonely, or overwhelmed or simply needing a friendly face, you will find a team that opens their heart and home to you.
There are many activities and workshops available too. And you’ll be signposted for advice or suggestions medical and other should you need it. My favourite is the drop in. It’s where I can find familiar faces and feel supported. Or sometimes I can work and read quietly in a beautiful seating area. On some occasions I have had an enjoyable lunch healthy and delicious. I enjoy meeting the trustees or interesting people for conversations that inspire and motivate me. Can’t recommend Future Dreams House highly enough. My emotional health during and after treatment wasn’t great. And it’s this aspect that gets lost in translation so often during the process. Charities like this is key in helping so many of us. An absolutely fantastic place for those affected by breast cancer. I cherish my time here and truly feel understood. Workshops and therapies that are provided are wonderful. A great way to meet other women who understand exactly what you’re going through.
