I cannot say enough about the wonderful work of David McKay at Lighthouse Escrow. It was my first time working with him as a buyers agent on a commercial development project in the city of Los Angeles. Despite some headwinds and difficulties during escrow he stayed positive and collected throughout. In the end the property ended up closing and it was largely because of his professionalism. Thank you and I look forward to working with you again.

Our recent experience with Lighthouse was profoundly disappointing. Despite my office being a loyal client, their indifference and unwillingness to address our concerns made it clear that our business was of little importance to them. Their lack of care and consideration have led us to seek services elsewhere. I cannot recommend this company to others seeking reliable and customer-focused services.

I had Danyelle Hallahan as my escrow officer for a reverse morthgage refinance. I had such a horrible experince with them I do not recommened them to anyone, Danyelle is NOT knowledgeable when it comes to reverse mortgages, she is non responsive, rude, disrespecful and goes silent when she is most needed and then you get a reply from her assistant who will reply on her behalf. We had a signing at 3pm and at 9am that morning she sent an email to me that everything is good and at 3pm my borrower called me to say the notary is not there. When I called Danyelle, she told me that she doesn’t have docs!!! She never alerted anyone to that and didn’t communicate this to anyone and it was a horrible exerience for me and my borrower, even then she still spoke to my disrepectfully when she is the one clearly messing up and trying to over compensate for her lack of knowledge on the work she is supposed to know. When balancing the numbers with my closing team, she was asking us where to put the fees and acting as if she is learning as she goes on the job, also her usual reply if she missed an email is that it went to her junk email (even though she has been getting emails from us and we’ve been communicating back and forth)! I had 3 other loans with them that I cancelled and I will never work with them again! Lesson well learned and never again! I am also going to send a report on the Better Business Bureax so that others are not subjected to this kind of service and unnecessary stress that Danyelle caused. Nothing personsal against her, but business wise they are not trust worthy.
