I gave 1 star because it is not possible to give none. I received an email from Liberty Pace yesterday at 2.36 pm saying that they would like to set up a Microsoft Teams Interview at 1.00 pm on the 9th 0f May (today) to learn more about me and to answer any questions that I may have. I opened this email at 4.45 pm and stated that I can make myself available at that time and look forward to the log in details for this interview. I changed my whole day for this interview. I was ready by 12.30 with a few questions to ask, and I kept checking my emails for log in details as I still had not received any. I contacted another person that I know because they have had plenty of on line interviews and they said its normal to not hear from business’s/companies until the last minute as they are normally busy. At 1.08pm, ( 8 minutes after their requested time) it got the better of me, so I replied to the original email *Again, stating that I was just wishing to confirm my reply email from yesterday. I waited until 1.20pm as I cant be expecting them to be watching there emails. I then googled the phone number and called them at 1.21pm. I first spoke to a lady that said I was cutting in and out, I checked my phone and had full bars, she put me through to a man that had his mouth moving from the mouth piece constantly, so I asked him if he was in a bad area. He went quite, then I said hello, he said yes I’m here, but continued to move his mouth away from the phone and mumble. Bottom line, he said that as he did not hear from me yesterday until 12 minutes before they closed, they decided to not bother. However, they did not have the common courtesy or decency to contact me to let me know that they were no longer interested in a meeting. I guess that not having notifications on for your emails on your phone is frowned upon. The way he spoke was extremely rude, unprofessional, and certainly shows that he has no compassion what so ever, and not a caring bone in his body for stating that he wasn’t going to bother with the meeting because I replied to late. 2 hours and 12 minutes after he sent me the meeting request. People like this should NOT be involved in staffing or recruiting for hospitals and or aged care. Compassion, integrity, responsibility and maturity goes hand in hand with these organistions. Do yourself a favour, use an agency that has integrity, as this one clearly doesn’t. One last thing, he hung up on me when I said- should we just forget about my application. Disgraceful.
