The BBB allowed Stan’s weeks to respond, to not answer basic questions, and have kept Stan’s rating as an A+. When I asked how it is possible that Stan’s still has an A+ I was told “Please note that BBB ratings are not a guarantee of a business’s reliability or performance. When considering complaint information, its important to take into account the company’s size and volume of transactions.” See the screen shot of the email response.
I have paid Stan’s $30,000 over 2 years, see the temp in the house after a 2-year-old unit died. I had to use space heaters over the winter and will have to use a portable air conditioner this summer, again $30,000 in two years. The BBB saw the receipts and the responses from them and is blatantly willing to continue to mislead the public by continuing to rate them an A+.
The BBB reflects a 2.2 rating out of 5 on its own website, but still gives them an A+ after seeing how they treated me. I will never use another BBB accredited company, never, it is nothing, but a lie.
