USIP is a vital institution that does incredibly important peacebuilding work. They track conflicts globally, host panels and experts, host events for the public, partner with local Universities, and have an absolutely stunning building shaped like a dove, the international symbol of peace. They were founded as a bipartisan effort in 1984 under Reagan. I hope to see their work further expand. Their website is an excellent resource for researching and staying abreast of international conflicts, and I am very disappointed to see it currently shut down by DOGE under this administration.

I can’t find anything about what the actually do or where the money goes. I know what it says they do, but it seems like oversight is limited at best and with hundreds of millions of dollars there needs to be transparency. It is a good looking building though

FEDS seizing this private property is not what we voted for. This is scary. It has implications for all Americans — “big brother will come after us all” If you don’t believe me, watch this space. I can guarantee this post will be deleted by next week (like last one was). Wake up folks — if we don’t push back we’re all done for
