As an office assistant. You will never be provided with clear expectations, when you are hired, of what your training is going to be about. Even tho you bring all the positivism to work, and willingness to learn, and help; They expect you to read minds. They expect you to work on call (when they call you must show up), no set schedule, they expect you to work for as long as they need “you” to with no previous notification of how long your day might be, they expect you to think it’s okay that you are “being trained” with no clear goal of learning (they will never tell you “these are all the thing you have to learn”). How easy is to learn when you don’t even have access to train in the system?. How easy is to prepare yourself for the following day if you don’t even know what time they are going to call you or send you a text to go by the office at certain time? How easy is to understand what they will consider late or early (leaving from work) when they DO NOT HAVE A SCHEDULE?. Oh… and they will make you work on these things that should have been finished long time ago by whoever started it (do someone’s else’s job).
Overall, being an HR/ Staffing company I was expecting more organization, more clarification, not only word of mouth info but something tangible that explain the process. I’m very disappointed at the lack of professionalism from this management and I will never recommend it. However, I hope that management gets to read this and note it. Maybe everyone will do better if follow some of the lines explained above.
