It really can be frustrating waiting for them to release payment. It’s the same for school workers every year. Winter vacation, spring vacation, & summer vacation. Back to work in fall and it always takes so long. When you have to pay them back they want their money but when it comes to you getting yours it takes so long. People have bills to pay and mouths to feed. I’ve been trying to find work for the summer in the meantime because I can’t rely on this. It’s such an inconvenience.

Insulting system. Had been accused of overpayment from a long long time ago. I have been trying to sort it out. I was originally granted my benefits by a real human I believe he was referred to as a field auditor or investigator by the name of Conrad Bianchi back when you could reach a real person. I honestly filed my claim and was on unemployment for one month. I am not one to take advantage of the system. My info has been transferred into so many of their systems, I have tried to call we all know how that goes, I filed a case online and receive blank confusing threats in the mail. I’m not incompetent as I see many other people here having the same issue. The Government agencies, being the services we hard working people pay the most, provide THE LEAST in active clear communication. It’s like they treat you like a criminal and create debt and “fraud” to give themselves business. This has got to change. I never leave 1 star reviews.And to boot,I spent 2 entire days trying to pay it back to have it out of my life when so many people gave me advice not to incase they are wrong at DOL but of course the government wants you to live in fear….ACI payments does A2A debit transactions and charges a convenience fee in another state….what a nightmare with my poor bank it took a series of 5 hours on and off to adjust the account to pay back the alleged “overpayment.” I have everything documented as well to back myself up. But here I am being treated like a doormat in the system. This has taken years months and hours.

Completely dysfunctional bureaucracy. I’m trying to appeal unemployment decision through a phone hearing and because I have to call them first so that they call me I was late six minutes, the rep nevertheless said I will receive a call within few minutes and I never did, subsequently another hearing was scheduled 28 days from the original one.
