I want to mention two HR representatives, regarding a contract employment opportunity for DOW Chemical. Initially, Laxmi called me and informed me about a hybrid work option, a salary range of 9.5 to 11 LPA, and a Chennai location. She also mentioned that there would be three interview rounds, with the final round taking place in Chennai. I agreed to these terms. When the third round was scheduled, I spent ₹10,000 to travel to Chennai, but no one informed me about the interview timing or details. I had to call on hr, who then rudely told me to wear covered shoes, which was never communicated earlier. She was extremely unprofessional and dismissive when I asked for clarification. Now, there are conflicting statements from both HRs: Hr is saying it’s 4 days in office and 1 day WFH, with a package of 9 LPA. Laxmi is saying it’s 5 days WFO with the same 9 LPA package. This lack of transparency and professionalism is unacceptable. To make matters worse, he is now demanding that I resign from my current job before even sending the offer letter, which is highly unprofessional. Overall, this has been a terrible experience, and I’ve never encountered such rude and misleading HR representatives before.
