There’s no question that this is the best ocean charity in California. They actually make a difference. When you give to them there is direct action. In 2019 they removed over 16,000 pounds of plastics from San Diego bay. They also educate, advocate and inspire people into making lasting changes that will directly help the marine environment around San Diego. I saw what they were doing, checked them out totally, and I can state without reservation that they have an approach that is worth investing in.

I’ve seen them at work and it’s so important to keep these waters clean for our families. We can use their message to help educate our kids to pick something up on the beach, in the water, on a hike, etc. Happy that they are here in San Diego to help us:)

I’ve participated in a couple of beach cleanups in partnership with the Padres Volunteer Team. I really admire what San diego Coastkeeper does!
