I began my career in 2011 and used Dental Auxiliary Services, they merged with KAD Dental to create the branch KAD Dental Staffing LLC in 2018.
Things slowly changed and were never as the same as DAS but in 2024 KAD started switching payroll companies and it took a dive in July. Wages were late for months and to this day NEVER PAID! We went without pay, or were paid late by direct deposit, wire transfers from their other businesses, Zelle payments, and eChecks. I worked part time and after I received all my earned income I decided not to continue with a company who is unreliable/unpredictable with wages. Claims have been filed with the Texas Workforce Commission for missing income and some are still pending and unresolved.
Late/missing wages is never acceptable but also the communications of the company during the last 9 months related to that issue has been despicable. They send out the same apology, never take responsibility or give straight forward responses, and they completely ignore texts, phone calls, and emails (which still continues). Dental offices paid KAD their fees for the temporary employee so where did that money go? The damage is done and trust cannot be gained back for many and I’m unsure why some have stayed with them.
There are two owners listed for company (and I’m sure other partners) the with one being an attorney and CPA, I know he is aware this is unacceptable for any business and I’m appalled it has gone on for so long. There are also multiple businesses listed at the KAD address and upon online research there are also pending legal challenges against some of these companies in other states.
We are all very sad KADs actions last year has tainted the outstanding reputation Dental Auxiliary Services and its owner Nitia Morris created. WE MISS YOU Dental Auxiliary! Many of us also wish the best to the great original team members that were with DAS that stayed with KAD, I do not know how you have stayed through this time because we know feelings often were relayed onto you and you have no control in the situation. As an employee of KAD we weren’t and aren’t valued and their reactions and communications about missing wages has gone to show they don’t care about their employees. Not paying people for over 6 months while ignoring their requests is appalling.
For future dental professionals looking for an employment agency-there is another local company to work for that still operates as a small personal company as well as many online platforms and networking for jobs. Do your research and find yourself a position where you are valued, respected, and compensated as promised.
Do not be fooled by some reviews in late July/August 2024 as we received a text for a drawing for $1000 for writing a good review and stopping by their booth at the SW Dental Conference and one owner’s daughter giving a 5 star review in Feb 2025 stating “Done some work for them- had a great time and got paid”. It’s unfortunate their employees really did work for them, had a great time but never got paid. Anyone asking or trying to cover up reviews should be confronted about it because all the things listed are factual with proof available.
This week some negative reviews have also been removed. Even if someone wasn’t a direct employee of KAD writing a review many worked in the offices that used their staffing services and their voices are just as valuable because its affected them on temps not wanting to come back until KAD pays them or they have left the company leaving those offices to find another service.
