This is pretty much the center of downtown per its name. This station has two levels/platforms to make switching lines easy. This is one of the few stations where switching to red is possible. Metro Center uses Blue, Silver, Red, and Orange lines. The only line this doesn’t serve is Yellow.
Plenty of escalators, maps, and options to top up your card. Kiosks take Apple Pay, cards, or cash.
Expect some foot traffic here relative to other stations.

This station was easy to navigate and I love that there are escalators. There’s an elevator also but it was super slow. The machine to purchase the SmarTrip cards was a bit confusing but we figured it out. You also have the option to use the Wallet on your iPhone.

Great Transit Center and great staff.
The staff were helpful and directed me to which subway platform I needed to go to.
My transfer from the red line to the silver line was quick and easy. It was not too crowded and the subway was on time so I had plenty of time to make my connection.
