I recently became unemployed after 6 years of full-time work with a very good salary. After being unemployed for 2 years, I was called to a mandatory interview with my adviser, where I was informed that I would soon be unemployed for 2 years. I explained that I had been to 6-7 job interviews in the past 3 months. Much to my surprise, my counselor began to suggest that I was the problem. I have not been offered any kind of help to move forward in the process, such as support for job interviews. Instead, I was sent out on RCA (Activity Clarification) for 3 months. Here is my experience that it is not relevant to my need to find a job and I feel that time is being wasted. I find it difficult to understand the value of both the Jobcentre and the RCA in this context as it seems that there is not enough support to help
