I regret ever applying through Pacific Gateway. I was approved for WIOA services — great on paper — but once that approval came through, it was radio silence. No follow-up, no onboarding, no timeline. Just me constantly chasing down a counselor like I’m applying for a favor instead of accessing a service I qualify for.
Communication is non-existent unless I hound them with repeated emails or show up in person. And when I do finally hear back? It’s a one-line email a week later with no action taken. I’ve provided every document they asked for. I’ve done my part. But the energy is giving “we’ll get to you when we feel like it” — not “we’re here to help you succeed.”
This is supposed to be a workforce assistance program, not a ghosting competition. WIOA is a great resource in theory, but the way Pacific Gateway operates turns opportunity into a full-time stressor. No urgency. No accountability. No follow-through.
If you need real help and timely support, look elsewhere. All this office does is slow you down.

I regret to even sign up with them. I thought they had good reputation. Wrong, to start off with, I was misinform by Christ to get assistant with low income furnished place and the “job coach” Mariza cant’ even do her job right. She basically laugh at me “there isn’t a lot of “remote part time customer service job!” and never follow up. What a joke with them. Most of the people that works there are Mexican and if you observe, most of the people gave rating are the same group of people. Absolute no Asian.

The employees at this company don’t seem to care, lack any communication skills, and are not very truthful and transparent. They said I qualified for aid and would receive help longer then a month ago. Since then I haven’t heard anything back since speaking or contacting multiple people at this company after giving them sensitive private information. Worst business I’ve dealt with in a long time.
