We wanted to learn about local specialities. I had kniddelen and sausages in mustard sauce, which was the recommendation. Now I know that this kind of food is NOT my taste! Very unhealthy and nothing fresh. My friend had a burger that was dry and strange (no bun). We did not enjoy the food, and the service was bad. At least the beer was good and cold!

This bar has a cozy terrace on a popular square in Diekirch. You can also eat food here but honestly it is on the pricey side.
We just went for drinks and they are prices reasonably so I had a local beer.
What was truly amazing was how well the waiter spoke English and really tried his best, unlike many other places in Luxembourg. Top service!

In Feb 2022 I was reminded of who i was and where i was in such a way. It is rare to be discriminated so openly and direct as i was in this place. The woman was condescending, dismissive and some moment down right rude. I did not order anything. I let my partner order whatever given the atmosphere. My advice if you are not-white don’t enter. Sad it did look good but the is a limit one reaches when faced with such racist act.
