Agency seems to have a great reputation. The recruiter named Lauren was AMAZING and the interview went very smoothly. She was very pleasant during the whole interview. However, things went south. I have NEVER heard anything about the status of the position. Also, I attempted to follow up and even left messages. There is just completely no response. Being Asian during these anti DEI times are challenging. I really appreciate her time, but the lack of communication even after following up is not accepteble. Now it has been over a month since the initial phone interview.

Don’t call someone and say you want to speak about their resume and don’t speak about anything on their resume. If I applied for a job it was because I wanted to work I’ve read the job description no need to go over that multiple times after stating I am okay with that and ready to work even with that being said they still wanted to question work hours and such and speak about nothing to do with my resume. While also mentioning again I am okay with the hours and the pay that is being offered. However, it seemed like that went in one ear and out the other. It was like a run around and still have not talked about my resume but they deemed me not a good fit. It’s sad to say but I honestly believe that if I was caucasian the conversation would have been what they initially stated the call was for. It was a part time position that I applied for because it was a job that would work and fit my lifestyle for my children and myself. The conversation I had with the vice president was just horrible and demeaning. They are in the business of crushing African American dreams and spirits. I recommend Adecco if anyone is looking for a great team to help you with job placements.
