From what I can tell, VincentBenjamin does not train recruiters or Trevor O’Gorman did lot learn during training. I have no desire to work with any company who allows their recruiters to spam people on LinkedIn for jobs the potential candidates are clearly not qualified to perform. Please, VincentBenjamin, train your recruiters to read LinkedIn profiles before sending canned messages to people. Also, please have your recruiters make the messages personal instead of seeming so impersonal.

I was contacted by a representative from VincentBenjamin and offered a tax preparer position that lasted from January to April. The position detailed basic editing. The site location was in Irvine CA. I was asked to provide proof of vaccination and complete the assessment test and onboarding documents. Once I did everything (I still have the emails and documents). Maybe about a week later, I got a call asking me if I was still interested in the position? I ask why did something change? She told me I was missing a document (W4 form) and it will be emailed to me to complete it immediately. A week went past, and I still didn’t receive the email from the “other” department. I then inquired with the initial contact and that’s when I realized that they may over recruited, their preferable became available, they realized that I come from a mixed culture and wouldn’t be the best fit so they wanted to discourage by not sending me the form (employee can complete a W2 onsite)

This company is sleazy! One of the recruiters called me looking for my husband who happens to be a director for a firm they were trying to partner up with. What number did they use? My cellphone number! I asked the recruiter how she got a hold of my cell phone nr & she stated from a public database?! I guess they couldn’t get a hold of him through traditional channels- ie Linkedin, company HR, his e-mail address- they thought ‘hey let’s call his spouse, maybe she’d pass along our contact info’ ! I sure did let him know- NOT to work w/ you guys!
