From his kind demeanor to his extraordinary patience with our two very old (16 & 17 y/o) handicapped pups, Rob’s pretty awesome! One of our dogs is blind and the other in diapers w/severe arthritis. Both require meds and to be carried in and outside. Our pups are no longer fun, energetic dogs you can play with but instead need lots of care in their tender old age. This makes finding care-givers when we travel a challenge. After our initial call, he offered to come to our home ahead of time to officially meet and show him all they required. He paid close attention and asked lots of questions which helped put us at ease (that’s usually means someone wants to get it right). We then left him the keys to our home and our dear boys for the weekend!! (EEEK!) But Rob gave us daily updates and pics and when we returned, it was as if no one had been there! The house was just as we’d left it but more importantly, our boys were calm and happy. In our experience, this means they were relaxed and well cared for. (We can always tell when things didn’t go well and the boys are stressed or sick when we get back). We appreciate Rob and look forward to having him back for our next trip!
