This was our 3rd time using this company. First time we had a blast. Second time, not so much. The crew did not get along, no one spoke to one another. So much tension thst my wife and I felt uncomfortable. At thst time the owner was going thru personal health issues and we opted not to complain , and thankfully that person is well now. My wife didn’t want to use them for our most recent trip but we decided to gove them another shot and it was a disaster. Chef quite on the 2md day. The replacement chef did not know what the first chef ordered. We had 2 lactose and gluten allergic children on board and we were extremely nervous. On day 4 we got notified that a 3rd chef would be replacing the replacement chef. At that time I blew my lid. We lost a day waiting for the stove to be fixed , and it wasn’t not. When I got the final bill there were items in the thousands of dollars thst we didn’t even know they bought and non the less cook. Furthermore, when we embarked on the yacht as scheduled, we didn’t even get served cold water since they didn’t have time to prepare from the previous trip. Total disaster. I wanted a day credit for my trip which I think is beyond being kind. So far no calls from the owners. There marketing material looks great. But in reality it looks nothing like what you get. The previous charter we took 2 years ago on the amoraki, the crew wasn’t talking to one another and alot of tension between the crew. We paid alot of momey for these charters and we got ripped off.
IN ADDITON TO THE CHEF QUITING, THE STOVE BROKE DOWN AND WE BASICALLY LOST A DAY WAITING FOR A REPAIR COMPANY TO DISASSEMBLE THE STOVE, TAKE IT TO THERE REAPIR SHOP AND RETURN 4 HOURS LATER TO SAY THEY CANT FIX IT, ALL WHILE AT THE MARINA. WE LEFT TBE MARINA AT 2PM WOTHOUT A WORKING STOVE TOP, THIS WAS DAY 3. THE NEW CHEF WAS FORCED TO COOK WITH A FAULTY HALF WORKING STOVE FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE TRIP.
OUR FOOD BILL FOR ONE WEEK WAS OVER 6000 EUROS. WE BROUGHT OUR OWN LIQUOR AND WE ATE DINNER OUT EVERY NIGHT. NOT REALISTIC TO SPEND 850 EUROS A DAY ON BREAKFEST AND LUNCH ON RAW FOOD. WE HAVE SHELLFISH ALLERGIES, WE DEFINITELY WERE NOT EATIMG LOBSTERS 24/7. JUST BECARFUL NOT TO FALL VICTIM. ASK QUSTIONS AND HAVE YOUR INVOICE INTERPRETED.
IM SURE THE OWNERS WILL REPLY WITH A GOOD EXCUSE. WE ARE NOT ONES TO COMPLAIN WITHOUT GOOD CAUSE.
