I applied for a job through this company.
Application forms went well as did phone conversations.
We had set up an interview where I would meet Amanda and also set up an interview with the employer directly.
Firstly met Amanda, although she seemed over excited – it all went well.
Met with the employer and that went fantastic.
Amanda then asked me to complete a criminal check. I had driving charges from 15years prior come up.
She made me feel like an absolute criminal, like it had happened recently. She called me multiple times asking me questions (forcing me to relive it and berating me) making me feel very uncomfortable. She also said the employer had asked her to seek these answers which I later found out was totally untrue. The whole time she was nice to my face, she was telling the employer not to hire me due to a criminal past 15years prior and that I have tattoos which would be a bad look for them.
Shortly after the employer called me apologizing for this as they didn’t want a criminal check, nor did they ask for it and they had made that clear to her. Yet she done it anyway and still invocied them it.
The employer offered me the job and I’ve been there ever since, most people there do have tattoos and a past, Amanda’s attitude clearly showed she didn’t research the company first – no due diligence completed.
Amanda acted extremely unprofessional, not only did she not have a right to my criminal history – but she did try to warn the company off me.
How is this helping people into work when she’s only happy to hire people that look like her.
She is a complete embarrassment to this company.

They won’t look at your C.v let alone give you feedback guess 20 years of international projects for the government and none is still not enough to get hired
