Lodged an application, no follow up, no explanation as to why I was not considered for a position, just an email. A good recruiter would make contact advise of why you were unsuccessful, provide advice on what you could do better or what you might need to consider for future applications and then talent pool. If this is how they treat their candidates and I was recruiting for a position I sure know I would be quite dis-pleased in the treatment of my new employees. Remember it’s a talent short market, and people are what make you your money.
