I worked for Image Staffing back in 2015 and they were incredible! Because of Vee Mateo and her wonderful staff I was able to obtain a full time job and I am in position now to promote to a Supervisory position within the organization I currently work for! I ALWAYS RECOMMEND IMAGE STAFFING TO THOSE WHO ARE LOOKING FOR WORK!

This is the worst staffing agency in San Diego! do not apply here. I’ve worked with this agency for a about a month and in encounter the worst experience in the work field. After being accepted for a job position and completing the finger prints. I waited one month and a couple of days to be assigned a job location. I started off by calling every week to see the statuse of my employment and when I could start. The Manager Vee Mateo who was in charge of my case did a poorly job and did not live up to her management expectation. When I called she never had an answer for me and always told me “Ill call you back” and NEVER DID. I’ve waited weeks for an answer that never came. At times I had to leave her my phone number because she said her desk is very messy and disorganized. I decided to call every day to speed up the process. Vee said my background check never came in when in fact other companies that hired me previously, only took a couple days at the latest. That same week I kept calling everyday day, Vee said “someone did not do their job correctly and did not sent my information to vee”. which wasn’t quite understood at that moment. Vee emailed someone and right away for the first time she called me back with an answer and she told me I start right away. That in fact I should’ve started a month before but she blamed it on someone else behalf for “not sending my information to her”. As a manager I expected her to be on top of all her task and actually managed her employees paperwork correctly. I started working at the County of San Diego Human and Health Services in Chula Vista. Unfortunately after a month working with the company, I felt it wasn’t a perfect fit for me. I called Vee to inform her of my feelings and issues that I was going through about the company. Vee became very defensive and talked over me and called me a lier! and said “she couldn’t help the world” because I asked her for a transfer and told her that company doesn’t treat temp and volunteer girls with respect and there very disorganized with their paperwork as well. The moment I worked there, the workers warned me about that place due to their new management staff things changed drastically. I even told her I have witnesses that would be open to speak to her about it and confirm it but she didn’t help me. She said shell find me a place to transfer but at the moment there no openings and that shell “call me”. two days later my friend called her to see if their are any openings for her and Vee said yes. In downtown the county of San Diego is accepting a temp. When I heard that I immediately stop showing up to my job out of disappointment and Luckily started working in my current job right away, With the help of a better, organized more professional staffing agency called EASTRIDGE WORKFORCE SOLUTIONS. Who actually listens and cares about their employees. Keeps their employees updated and important paperwork organized and up to date. Till this day I’m still battling to receive my last paycheck from them, I called and left a voicemail to the manager in charge of the department I was working in at the county and told them I resigned the last day I was there and if she could please send my timecard to the staffing agency so they can mail out my check and call me back to confirm it. She never called me back. I called the staffing agency to see if they received my time card and Vee said “Oh those people sometimes don’t sent out the timecards in time”. Vee told me to call them and to have them send my timecard to the agency I said I already did that and left a voicemail that I feel she should email them or call them since they are the agency I was working with. She rudely in a loud manner said “Don’t tell me how to do my job” I said “you should help out your employees and do your job”! She said ” I am going to tell them to terminate your work with them” and I said before she hung up ” I already quit awhile ago”. I called the front desk to get the number to Vee manager, To file a complain The girl in the front refused to give me a number. HORRIBLE AGENCY!
