Great place to go. We spent our second year anniversary. What a great place dinner and a movie. All at 1 food was outrageous. We loved the chicken salad and the c. M x burger must try the truffle fries.

First of all, this mall is immaculately clean with tons of natural light flowing through its glass roof. It is a nice space to stroll through both visually and aurally. They have some great art hanging on the walls and there is plenty of parking. I am not sure why malls do not seem to work anymore, with the exception of UTC, this mall and Sarasota Square further south are more than half empty. I was there on a Saturday afternoon two weeks before Christmas and only saw a handful of people. Given how hot and humid it can be in Sarasota for six months every year, one would think a beautifully appointed, clean, air-conditioned mall would be a popular spot, but sadly that’s not the case. It would be great to see more local artists using the space. The Players Center Theater moving here is a great idea to start with, even on a temporary basis. Perhaps some thought could even be given to the Sarasota Symphony taking up residence here. It is such a great and convenient location, I hope the owners continue to find creative ways to use the available space.

basically it’s dead. About 90% of the stores are closed down. However there are some art things kicking around up in there. The movie theaters still kicking around 2 and a restaurant. If you need to make a pit stop and use the bathroom so that’s the place to go because no one’s ever in there and they keep them super clean. Or if you want to safely walk around and get those steps in go there just keep walking around and around no one’s going to bug you there’s hardly anybody there. My head right around the corner is a Aldi’s. Extremely good prices. Produce was amazing. Lots of space where your cards ain’t colliding with everybody else.
