We had high expectations as we stayed two years at another Huttopia, unfortunately none were fulfilled. Although it is a “new” camping site and some things could still be in the making, but in this case it was clear it was organized in a rush to open it in the summer which resulted in: Accommodation: we stayed in the evasión chalet, when we arrived was dirty, not cleaned at all, the bed sheets from the previous guests were still on the beds. The chalet was fine, nicely constructed but the quality of the appliances, beds and furniture was really bad, very cheap. The fans broke and they were not more than two weeks in use. Camping site: full of cars! Everyone can take their care and park it just by their tent which makes it annoying and dangerous for children! Cars go and come the whole day, as it had been raining the roads and grass fields in the camping where a big mud puddle due to the cars. The whole day there was a smell of sewage because there was a problem that was being solved according to the staff. I cannot imagine what it was for the guests with tents beside the toilet building 😣. They say it is eco friendly and you can separate your garbage, which would be fine if at least you could manage to get rid of the garbage. The dumpster place was full every time and there was no place to get rid of your bags, bottles, paper even worse you could not reach the bins. Swimming pool: dirty! Dirty! Dirty! That is the only thing I can say Activities: most of the activities offered (very few) were externally organized. We had subscribed our daughter to one, when we arrived on the day and time of the activity, it was changed without previous notice. So we had a disappointed girl as it was the only activity we could inscribe her. Staff: a few where friendly, but most where dismissive and always had a “but” when you had a complaint or made silly jokes. When asked for information on what to do in the surroundings they indicated the few folders they had. Surroundings: beautiful landscape and very very nice people in the villages, restaurants, attractions! If Huttopia manages to organize the camping and make it more friendly it is a beautiful place to stay and visit! But for now I would recommend people to chose another place in the area!

Fantastic camping experience in a beautiful nature location, and very friendly staff team! As longstanding Huttopia holiday makers, we are delighted to see this new nearby Huttopia opening finally in Belgium. It is a very promising start, keep it on! We enjoyed the beautiful site, with various activities and walks around. Nice cappuccino and pizzas to Huttopia standards too. The Roulotte was a good choice of accommodation, with nice views.

Last year I was really happy about my stay at Huttopia Forêt des Vosges, thats why I returned this year! I recently stayed at Vallée de la Semois – Ardennes and had a mixed experience. Unfortunately, I found the reception staff, blond lady and particularly Alex, quite unfriendly. Alex provided incorrect information about the tent and both were rude and crumpy. On a positive note, the bar staff were friendly. However, our first night was uncomfortable as there were no bed linens available, despite having paid for them. I reported this the next day but did not receive any apology, which was disappointing.. The campsite itself has a stunning view of the Ourthe River, and it’s a lovely place for families, and dogs are also welcome. It has enough of activities to enjoy. The campsite is about a 25-minute drive from the nearest town. Unfortunately the food were consistently sold out. The camping is clean, the waste dump is only too full and dirty but the sanitary facilities were fine but no toiletpaper most of the time. Overall, the location is perfect and relaxing!
