Boomtown has managed my property for a few years now and I’ve been pleased with their service! They’ve found quality, long-term tenants and have been caring and professional in all my interactions. Most recently, they’ve helped me save thousands on a new HVAC. Grateful to have them looking out for me!!

I am a property owner and have to submit a 1 star review here after three years of utilizing Boomtown. Owners should not pursue the model Boomtown uses which is where the property manager charges a monthly fee regardless of whether a new tenant takes residence. In addition to the monthly fee you will pay a tenant discovery fee. As an owner, you are just wasting money with this model. Instead, pursue a property manager where you pay ONLY a tenant discovery fee. Most of these types of property managers will STILL assist you with finding contractors since they care about maintaining relationship with you for subsequent business (next tenant and so on). By following the preferred model you will also avoid price gouging by the contractors that are in bed with Boomtown. Additionally, Boomtown (or other property managers following the less preferred model from an owner perspective) has less incentive to assist the owner with new tenants based on increased market value of the home, since they are already receiving passive monthly revenue with no or low value work in return to the owner. So you risk losing out on rent increase ESPECIALLY if you sign a lease for multiple years which Boomtown will try to push based on the passive income they receive. Finally, early on Boomtown attempted to hide in their financials $1531 that was challenging to a non-accountant to ascertain. I was able to figure it out and had to plea to get the money back. I did receive the money back finally, but the owner stated: “mistakes happen and i expect there will be more”. I should have made the switch after year one, but failed based on personal circumstances. It was easier for me at the time to just continue with the model. Sometimes you just don’t know what you don’t know and I fell victim to this. Don’t be a victim to this model!!! Shop around.

Boomtown is outstanding, made everything so easy and quick, and very professional. Katie was absolutely wonderful to work with, answered all my questions and was so helpful, patient, and understanding. She explained everything, sent all the details, and always responded quickly. Would highly recommend Boomtown.
