HireQuest has come down in its fortunes. I used to recommend it even though it didn’t offer transportation, to people who are busing or bicycling from the North side. But the agency has lost a few clients — the very ones whose jobs I could take. They lost the contract with the best garbage company in the city, their temp-to-hire job. These companies have opted for a different staffing service, or none at all. A few of them went out of business. So HireQuest has downsized to this cozy and usually vacant premise. No more than two workers come in person, only via phone. There still is free coffee, water, and a clean, well-stocked inside restroom. There are at least two employees and one of them speaks Spanish. (I don’t know if Roger and Daniel have worked here since 2023.)

Stopped by to do their interview and complete on board packet . It would not take my emails or phone number . No help was offered there was one other person there who was also having problems. The 2 behind the counter seemed to be preoccupied with their feet nailed to the floor . Now I get why they have such bad reviews. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Things work out for a reason I’m glad a dodged a bullet .

Great company to work with. I have been using them for temporary labor around a year and what sets them apart is quality and customer service! The office staff and sales reps have been more than helpful. They are always super reponsive and have our request filled and any issues resolved promptly. I hope to have many more years using them for my temporary labor needs!
