if you are looking for housing options for campus living, DO NOT LIVE HERE. There are much better options elsewhere on campus. This apartment made my first year treacherous. From the start, it felt like I was scammed with their luxury illusion that didn’t match the reality. First off, the management is extremely unresponsive and lacks care for the tenants. In September 2024, another units bathroom had flooded which somehow seeped into my own unit’s bathroom and my closet, leaving my whole area and clothes soaking wet. I contacted the maintenance several times and to this day the maintenance request remains unresolved. This is just one of the many instances. Secondly, The staff are rude, unprofessional, and completely unhelpful. Any time my roommates and I had a question about our lease or tried to get clarity on random charges, we were either brushed off, given vague and contradictory answers, or talked down to like we were bothering them. It’s honestly shocking how little the people working here seem to know about their own leasing policies. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone—especially new students. It looks cute on the outside, but once you sign the lease, you’re stuck in a nightmare.

Shady, Greedy Management – Stay Far Away! Absolutely the worst experience with a rental company. Two years after we moved out, we were suddenly hit with a move-out fee for so-called “damages”—specifically, a small paint chip from a Command hook. We lived in that apartment for only two months, and there were tenants who lived there for an entire year after us. Yet somehow, we’re being held responsible? What’s even more outrageous is that there was zero communication for two full years—no notice, no attempt to contact us—until they decided to bill us out of nowhere. It feels completely unfair, shady, and unprofessional. There’s no proof the chip was even there when we moved out, and the fact that the unit had other tenants after us makes this charge totally baseless. This building is a complete money trap. They’ll charge you for the tiniest things and look for any excuse to take more from you, long after you’ve left. If you value transparency, fairness, and your wallet—do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place

As a parent I am SO HAPPY to have my kid living at Hub Minneapolis. Great location, exceptional amenities, safe and it’s just really nice. I am glad Hub was his first real place after moving out. I know he is comfortable, has great space (one bedroom), fabulous views and has a great home base to succeed while at the U of M.
